About Me

Jill Solis was raised in the Great Smoky Mountains of Georgia in a little community called Fairyland. Naturally, she learned to use her imagination and developed an appreciation for color and whimsy. 

After working in elementary education for over 18 years, she has used her experience to create stories that help young children practice reading skills within the pages of a captivating story with lovable characters. 

She is currently living in a log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband Ted and Auggie Doggie. She loves all things nature including flowers, trees, birds and bees and enjoys seeing the beautiful outdoors reflected in the pages of her books.
